Amazon is price matching this, but all it means is they're liquidating inventory to make room for the new Mac Pros coming out soon. I'd wait.

Still a killer machine for $2500, given the number of cores & memory config.

Well, they were price matching it, but I guess they're sold out too. They do have a discount on the quad core version, but it isn't nearly as good a deal. I wonder if other Mac retailers are offering the same deal on the 12 core.
