Today, I recommended and helped a friend of mine pick up a mac. Those of you who know me know I dislike macs generally...but the mac fit her graphics background and generally dislike of the color black or beige. We buy it used and we shut down the working system, bring it home, restore all the cable connections and boot up. All looks good for a little while, OS 9 starts to come up and suddenly the cursor turns into a little bomb icon.
She says, "Oh look, the cursor turned into a bomb".
I say, "Well, I think the machine crashed"
She says **drumroll**
"I thought you said not to get a PC"

It was funnier in my head, I swear. She's using my rig for now tho until the person we got it from can explain wtf is wrong with it...still, that last comment had me rolling.
