Mac OS X to ship without DVD support...

According to an article on MSNBC, the new OS X will have several bugs such as no support for reading or writing DVDs and problems with the sleep function on laptops. It goes on to say that the bugs will be fixed this summer. Check it out.

You can't blame them. It is a brand new operating system so it's tough to support everything on the first release...

I think reading DVD's is a major bug which should be addressed before it ships. I could understand if it was only an issue w/ a specific brand of drive or something, but just DVD's in general is just too big of a problem.
