Tiger has been cracked for plain x86 machine and is available if you know where to look !!!

It wouldn't do you a heck of a lot of good to install OS X right now anyway, since I don't think any of the commercial Mac software has been released yet with fat binaries that support both PPC and x86. In a year, though, it'll be a different story.

Yeah I am not worried about the software at this point. I really just want to investigate the OS and prepare for it if it is going to be something I like.

I'm downloading it right now on a torrent. Looks like it's going to take a while though - apparently this version is almost a gigabyte large. I'll virus scan the entire thing when it's done too. Keep on chuggin ;)

I dunno, I've looked on and off today and this is the only thing I could find on p2p and warez sites. I wonder how to install it? This will be an adventure.

If you check the trackers that are carrying that file, it's a Linux .ISO, lol.

But good find ;)

Yeah I figured that out after I posted, there wasn't any info on the tracker as to exactly what OS it was. However, I now have something much more solid.
