Hi, I want to transfer all old document files from my OS9 machine to my OSX machine. Are there any tricks I need to know about the process? Both the OS9 and OSX machine have multiple accounts and securty passwords. Will that prevent me from accessing the files if I simply drop the HD into the new machine?

It'll work fine. An easier way is Firewire Target Mode though.
