Mac Minis

Today we had finals for some of our classes (with the rest being tomorrow) and one of them was my radio/television class. We order two mac minis through an Apple "contact" we have that got them cheaper for us. Got to finally set them up today (we got them earlier in the week), and I have to say, I'm pretty freaking impressed.

I'm definitely not a Mac fan by any means, and when I first started the class realizing we only had one G4 and a couple G3 iMacs, I wanted to cry. But these Mac Minis are sweet. We got them upgraded to a gig of RAM each, and I was just really impressed by the size more than anything.

 for Mac. I'm thinking about buying one of these as I'm planning on buying a Mac for my video stuff to go back and forth between school for the next several years.

/end praise

Your not a MAC fan, but you have an APPLE avitar! What is the deal with that?

It signifies something totally and completely different.

I never liked Apple much but they're starting to impress me. I'd still never buy one over a PC, but to have one to complement my PC, I'd go for it.

By the way, anyone ever notice that PC stands for personal computer, yet we refer to non-Apple machines as PCs and Apple machines as Mac, even though there is no single "PC" company?

It's a conspiracy...
Doesn't his username mean 'Fvck Apple' or something?

No, it's my name. First inital last name.

Though some still call me Apple Fvcker or Fapple Ucker, depending on the situation. 😛

They are pretty sweet. It's like a fully functional laptop except that you have to make sure there's a monitor, keyboard, and mouse wherever you go.

I like Apple Fvcker more.

Yeah, you don't really appreciate how small they actually are until you see on in person.

I purchased a mac mini for my wife yesterday, so she could do layout work on it at home.

So you're telling me if I would have waited, I could have bought it for cheaper through you???

edit:
Hey your "apple contact" - does he/she actually work for Apple? I have an idea I would like to sell them...
