mac mini

episodic

In 2009 they had an early 2009 mac mini and a late 2009 mac mini. Will they have an early 2010 model? Think we'll get an i3 ?

The Mac Mini tends to be closest in performance to the 13" MacBook/Pros. With the new update to the MacBook Pros, it is possible that the Mac Mini will see an update soonish as well, it is not as overdue for one as the MBPs were though.

I doubt it. Apple certainly had a chance to put an i3 into the 13" MBP, and they didn't. But at the same time, I'm not so certain an i3 would've been an upgrade anyway over what they currently have.

Apple looks to be skipping over the i3's and going with the i5 and i7 exclusively.

I don;t care too much for the CPU upgrades as much as I would blue ray and a true HDMI port.

Apple really overpriced their base model mini with the 2GB/160GB. C'MON, this is 2007 specs. For $599 I would expect 4GB and at least 320GB for the base model. An they need to officially approve 8GB DDR3 in the damn thing, what is the hold up. They do work with 8GB from my research.
