My current set-up is a repurposed old desktop in a Silverstone GD06. There's nothing really wrong with it, but for some reason I've got the urge to go to something a bit cleaner/smaller/less energy.
I've already ordered a Synology DS413j to eliminate my dependence on huge cases that serve as both HTPC and media server combined.
I also have a total of 3 HDHomerun's driving 6 tuners in Windows Media Center.
So with all that as the current state, I'm looking at my options for a cheap sleek system. Any opinions on a Mac Mini as an HTPC? I know it can handle my personal media fine w/ Plex, but I'm more curious about transitioning from WMC to EyeTV as a DVR software. Or should I just take my Windows 7 license from my existing HTPC and use that to bootcamp the mini?
