Anyone know if the Mac Mini is compatible with a USB wireless network adapter?

It would depend on which one. In principal they should be compatible with any USB1.0/1.1/2 device; but it isn't certain that some random USB adapter has OSX drivers. We'll need a specific model to say for sure. Try googling for usb wireless OSX, or similar. That should bring up some reviews of specific devices. Vendor sites might also list driver specifics.

The DLink DWL-122 and DWL-G122 usb2 adapters should work. Check xlr8yourmac.com for some more reader reports. There are a decent number of 802.11B ones I think...far fewer 802.11G.

I believe most of the broadcom 802.11g pcmcia cards work on the powerbooks since apple uses the same chips in their airport extreme stuff.

Pretty much most of the USB wireless adaptors will work, but I do think its worth spending a few extra bucks (eBay) and getting an Airport Extreme card. The less wires the better.

the issue here is that the mini that TheGeek has doesn't have the necessary mezzanine board for an airport card, so getting one won't help.
