Switched over a month or so ago and got the new Mac mini (love it). I notice that whenever I put a CD in the Superdrive and it spins up, it makes a weird clicking sound. This seems to end after a 4-5 seconds, and doesn't go on the whole time I'm ripping. Has anyone noticed this? Is it a problem? I've had HDD's click on me before they died, but this sounds less severe (I hope).

As a quick second question, when I booted up yesterday, I got the folder/? thing. I restarted and all was good. Why wouldn't it be able to find the boot folder all of a sudden?

Thanks for all the help!

I too sometimes get the ? on boot, but it usually goes away after 2 seconds. I think it might have to do with the fact that I had Snow Leopard Beta installed for a while, so therefore I am not real sure why it is doing it to you.
