Mac Mail: Identical columns and width?

Is there an easy/automagical way to make all the mailboxes (including inbox, sent and trash) have identical columns (other than date received v. date sent, of course) and column widths?

Mine all do, so I am not sure what the problem is.

As TheStu says, I believe that's the default. Resizing the column reflects the change in all other mailboxes I'm not sure you can change it. Perhaps you rearranged the fields? That's all I can think of...

Have you ever adjusted any of the column widths.

I mess with mine all the time and now I want them all to be the same as one I like in particular.

Ah, hrm... I am not sure how you would get them all to lock to a given size. After I adjusted my Subject (Inbox) column, I then went to Sent and it was the original size, not the adjusted one. One adjusted it seemed to stick, so if you were to do it manually, you would only have to do it once.

I can feel your pain though, i do the same thing at work with the spreadsheets that I work with.

So I guess there is no way to say "Make all the boxes look like this one"?

Bummer.

MotionMan

Honestly outside of spreadsheet applications, I don't know of any program with columns that lets you do that.
