My 13 year-old picked up an open box(all it was missing was the shrink wrap) for $299 at the local BB and I thought that was a helluva deal. $250 for a new one seems pretty unlikely since these never go on sale (unless you have a Dell coupon).

BTW: I DO NOT work for them and am in no way affiliated with them.
BTW2: Kinda wondering if frugal works for them, tho.

Is that really their phone number?
Could you stop in the store and see if they actually have these things for this price? Why/how are they so cheap-are they like-new condition.

Thanks a bunch. One of my friends has been trying to get one, ordered one from dell, but it was backordered till like mid march.

has anyone noticed MLK blvd in any state, town, etc... is prolly the shadyest part of town ?

I know MLK Blvd In newark is shady~

MLK blvd in Baltimore is shady~

SOLD OUT!

Just got off the phone with them.
They show the newer 10 GB model iPod (Mac or Win versions) for $394
Also the 20 GB model (Mac or Win) for $494

Yep, I've noticed that too. Just locate MLK Blvd in any city and you'll find the ghetto

I'm part of a mac forum, and yes General Cybernetics (sp?, sorry in a hurry), and yes it's a legit place. Too bad they're out of stock though. Usually if you purchase through www.macrumors.com you can get even more of a discount from them.
