Mac Help

I have a newer mac that I bought. I put on some software but want to take off two programs that were installed. I can't find a add/remove in the system preferences so I'm wondering how I actually delete the programs and regain the space they took up. Also another q is how would I do a fresh install (I have Mac X 10.2)

Thanks

Simply open up the Finder, go to Applications, find the program(s) you want to delete, and drag them to the trash. Thats it.

For the fresh insall, pop the install disk in reboot and hold down the "C" key or if you are in the os go to system preferances and select startup disk and select the cd that is listed
and when you select the hard drive, there is an customize/options button and select erase and install.
For app uninstall like SLCentral said, just drag it into the trash folder from where it is installed. There are a few programs that have an uninstall app but not many, ms office is one.

Thanks guys. I searched around in my user folder and found the problem that I was having with space requirements. Apparently my music was being saved in two locations. After getting that fixed it helped. Thanks for the info on the fresh install.
