Mac-formatted drive in a PC

Does anyone know what would happen if you connect a Mac-formatted drive in a PC running WinXP Pro? Will XP even see the drive and be able to reformat it? Or would you need to do something else?

Thanks

If it's formatted as FAT 32 you should be able to get away without reformatting, as far as i know both OSs can read it. Not sure about NTFS although someone will come along who does.

You'd definitly be able to reformat the drive in XP. That's a definite yes.
