Mac filter causes disconnect

I have a Linksys WPC54G v2, and a Linksys WRT54G router, and every time I put on a MAC filter the computer disconnects..

The laptop is running Windows XP with SP2...any thoughts?
 
Thaks for the thought, but no ,it isn't the wrong mac address. I wait till the computer is connected, view the connected list, and then add the MAC address from there, so I don't htink it could be wrong. Any other thoughts?
