Hey,
I recently went on a trip and the leader put together a CD of pictures from his digital camera. Problem is, he made the CD on an apple iBook and I get errors when I try to view the files on my PC. Is there anything I can do to get this to work? Or will we have to redo everything to make it work?

Anything burnt with OS X at least is burnt in ISO 9660 format(the CD standard), and OS X is extension-centric, so if they say JPG, they should be JPG. Have you tried another image viewer?

I've tried gimp, mspaint, acdsee, none of them view the pictures. I know there is nothing wrong with the pics themselves, as the original pics on his mac were fine. I will have to talk to him tomorrow and see if he can use the cd on his mac. I'll also get him to re-burn the cd. If all else fails, I can put the pics on my pc and make a cd from there (hopefully he hasnt deleted the pics off of his camera.)

Humor suggests going to reshooting all the same pictures to solve your problem....logic and serious posts to follow will surely contradict 🙂
