mac: crash different? what codec?

it's a .wmv file, and i cant get it to play for some reason... do i need to update my WMP? or do i need a codec>

you probably need a codec, i run in to the same problems sometimes as well.

Was that the guy who drop kicked the mac? I ran it with WMP8 and 9 just fine.

9 scares you?! just run spybot and it removes the contacting microsoft thing, i think. its fine, just update, they dont care.

Speaking of crashing a macintosh, does anyone know what the OS X equivalent of a BSOD looks like?

wasnt WMP9 also supposed to be able to mesh into the taskbar? how do i do that?

Like this?

Right click the taskbar, Go to Toolbars slideout, and Select Windows Media Player, now just minimize the open WMP Window.
