My GF brought a perfectly working 3 month old Mac book over my house. We was going to use it, but never got around to it. Before she brought it over here it worked perfectly.

Now whenever she turns it on. It loads all the way to the START UP sound than reboots itself. It does it this over and over forever.

What the heck is the problem? Im not familar with macs for the life of me.

please help. We tried the pvrm resets and holding down the power button with the powersupply/battery out.
edit: Nothing has been installed or uninstalled. This is her 1st computer in like 334434 years and shes still new to all this stuff.

We ran the disk utility from the setup cd and found no problems.

Well, she ended up doing something with the install disk. I believe it updated some stuff and now the mac works. Sadly, she doesn't know what she did so if it happens again she'll have to guess her way threw it.

Right, but not for phone support. That is only 90 with the default warranty.
