It seems the MAC address on my box is 00-00-00-00-00-00. Either my box has gone screwy and decided to be invisible or the address just isn't reporting properly.
It doesn't seem to be a problem at all, but I'm curious. Anyone know why this would happen?

no idea why, but you can go to network connections, properties, advanced, and assign it one if you like.

I have seen some network cards that do not report their MAC address to IPCONFIG for some reason. In most cases it does not appear to affect the functionality of the device if it does in fact have a valid MAC address that is visible on the network. If your NIC is working properly, I wouldn't worry about it, but it might not hurt to make sure you have the newest drivers for the adapter as that could resolve the problem.
