1. For people in MA, or surrounding New England area, how was your commute this morning? I am the only one in my office...i could barely get into my parking lot (my office is on a hill), and now the snow is coming down really hard....


2. Renateria for a ....prosepct? What kind of trade is that? Sounds like there were desperate to get rid of him.

1. Woke up at 6am to beat the morning commute... still got in at 7am. The southeast 'expressway' was still slow as balls, but the snow wasn't falling that hard yet. It's damn slippery on those roads though. I lost control while turning onto a ramp 🙁 Luckily, I didn't hit anything and nobody was behind me 😱

2. Renteria wasn't playing very good baseball anyway... I have no idea they were thinking giving him a 4 yr/$40 mill contract to begin with. He didn't really fit in well here anyway...

that was my thought...sure, the guys is touted to be good, but he is not a shortstop....even so, he is still only a prosepect and they paid money for the braves to take him.

1. I stayed in bed. Might pop into the office around noon to drop off some paperwork, but will probably just sit at home today.

2. Not quite sure what will happen with the SS position. It was just a year ago that Rentaria was tutoring the SS of the future, Hanley Rameriz, now they are both gone. 🙁

1. I just went out to Dunkin Donuts before a long day of writing papers for my Lit. class and the roads were not all that bad. Of course their were the normal idiots sliding around, but I had no problems.

2. I am a Yankees fan (enough said.)

Clemens back in pinstripes next year? or maybe back on the Sox?

Plus $11 million next year.

Edit: And in reply to your previous post, Alex Cora will supposedly be playing SS next year. He hit like .207 last year or something awful like that. Looks like you guys have another Mark Bellhorn!

I think the reason why they paid Renteria so much is that they really wanted to find a Nomar-like replacement. Renteria was teh clostest they could get without actually getting Nomar back.
