I'm having a hard time finding memory that works in this board.
It's an Amptron or Alton board with an Alladin Pro 2 chipset. aka. Bxcel

About 1 in 4 sticks will be recognized. Who uses this board and what
brand and modules do you use? ECC,EEprom cas speed etc.

My only luck has been with a non ECC generic Siemens stick, but I need more and
am wary of buying sticks and they wont work.:disgust:

You need working PC100 or PC133 sticks with a maximum of 128 MBytes per DIMM side, 256 MBytes per DIMM.
No ECC, best with eight chips per DIMM side.

There are a lot of defective DIMMs in the market currently. Go with quality stuff where at least the chip maker is
a recognizable brand, and memtest86 them all. www.memtest86.com.
