m3u data CD burner

So i made a playlist in the new version of winamp which is great btw, and the problem is i can't figure out a way to burn that playlist as data to play in my car stereo. any suggestions...
I tried loading the playlist in iTunes but didn't load.
I tried Nero, can't read the file format.

i burn *.m3u with nero - it works for me. What type of cd do you chose in nero? i make mp3 cd.

what version of nero do you use? and from which option do you open the m3u file?
Or maybe how do you open m3u file made with winamp or you made with a different software?
