ok, so i installed vista ultimate on my computer about 2 months ago (got it really from my university) and since then i haven't been able to get the integrated wireless to work. i dual boot with XP x64, so it hasn't been an absolute necessity to get vista fixed up.
the integrated wireless works perfectly fine on XP x64, and i've attempted to install every single wireless driver released for vista so far, none of them have worked. with some of them i've been able to get a signal, and it detects the network, it just won't let me connect. i know i have the right wep, but as soon as i enter it in, it denies me.
i've also tried installing the asus wifi ap solo utility, but that didn't help either.
my friend said i might have a bad install of vista, but i'm a bit hesitant to reinstall because i heard doing so on a dual boot system can be a bit tricky (and dangerous).
thanks for all the help!
