HELP - I'm trying to build a system and am using Striping and SATA drives for the first time. I'm getting a message "detect drives done, no any drives found" after booting. The drives (SATA 1 and SATA 2) initially showed up in the bios and I enabled them for RAID. The Serial ATA Controller has been enabled as well as the Raid option itself; however, SATA 1 and SATA 2 don't show up in the bios Main screen anymore. SATA 3 - SATA 6 do though. I've also gone into the RAID utility and think I set it up as well. The drives and total space ((2) 300 cyl for a total of 579?) shows up there. So it's like part of the system sees it and the other doesn't. I can't figure out what I've done, but it's not working.
