I am running Phenom X4 9600 BE, Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe, with G-Skill DDR2-8500 (2 x 2GB) and am getting not screen at all. I tested the gfx card in another machine and it worked fine. I am upgrading from socket 939 to AM2 and DDR to DDR2 do the graphics card is the only component I could test. I have reset the CMOS and tried using just one stick of ram (each stick in every slot) and tried using the other PCI-E slot but no help. Any Ideas? thanks

That particular board will need a BIOS update to accomadate a phenom.

Either get it onto a USB/floppy, or get a different CPU and use the utility in Windows. That's about all you can do.

you'll need a lower end cpu that the board supports to get it to boot and allow you to flash it, or you could take it to a computer shop and let them do it.

Yeah. Maybe borrow one from a friend/family member? Any X2...you just need to be able to update the BIOS, then things should run smoothly.

I actually got a good deal on a brand new M3N-HT Deluxe for $150 so it won't be an issue anyway. thanks for the help guys and if anyone want the M2N-SLI I'd be willing to part with it cheap hehe. thanks again
