m11x, charge toggle, and me!

The m11x is a neat little subnotebook. Its powerful and consumes very little power. I would like to extend my battery's life span by being able to toggle the charge function, but that feature does not exist on MY m11x. I think it might on revision 2 version, but not mine. This feature DOES exist in bios, but rebooting for this is kind of a pain. Any one out there know of a hack that will allow me to toggle the charger on the fly, without depleting the battery?? that would be sweet!
