i do reports with pictures frequently. When i pull in the picture to the word doc, it is huge and everytime i need to right click, format image, uncheck Lock Aspect Ratio and Relative to Original Size, then resize EVERY picture to keep my format correct. is there a way to add a "frame" to keep the picture size down or a way to set a default size. PM me if ya need more info!!!!

I don't know if this helps but in Office 2k (and if I remember also in 97) it always helps to insert pics in jpg format. All other formats will be stretched to max width. So, if you scan your pics, save them as jpg.

i use a mavica camera so they are stored as jpg but when you add them to the page in word. they take up 5"x7" of the sheet until you manually resize every shot one by one. i am trying to get them to stay 3"x5" so i can fit 2 per page with some type. you can imagine the hassle on a 21+ page report at two shots per page. thats resizing over 42 shots manually.

can i write a macro to add another page? the way i do the report now i use a template.doc (i know it isn't a real template but hey) and i modify it then save as page 1, redo the pictures and etc then save as page 2, and so on. how can i get multiple pages so i can save it as a multipage report?
