I recently purchased 2 of the M$ natural keyboard elite (ps/2), one for the comp and one for the Playstation2. Now, both keyboards work fine in the ps/2 port of my computer ... but I took an old ps/2 to USB adapter from my friends retail keyboard (exact same keyboard) and for some reason neither of my keyboards work with the PS2 in the USB port. Is there anything else I can try? Or is there any reason why the retail version of the keyboard will work with my PS2, but the brown box keyboard won't work with the adapter and PS2?
This is driving me nuts. I offered to trade my friend a brand new OEM keyboard for his, and even though he uses his in the ps/2 port on his comp .. he won't trade me. Yes, his is the EXACT same keyboard, just retail (well apparently not exactly the same or mine would freakin' work!).
