Maybe someone can help me out here, but which groups hate each other the most? For example I had a buddy who used to be a marine. He said that if they were at a bar and the Navy boys were there they usually got into a fight with them...unless the army was there, then the navy and marines joined together to fight the army guys. I might have that mixed up and I don't know where the air force fits in that mix either....can someone help me out?
I'm X-Navy, after we kicked the sh*t outta the Army guys we would see the Air Force pu**ies running away.

RIGHT...Navy beat up on Army...whatever :p

I knew an ex-Navy guy that got a tattoo across his lower back in stencil type lettering that said "Exit Only" with an arrow pointing down to his ass crack. That says enough to me about you Navy guys! :D

That sounds about right. Where does the Air Force fit in? Men don't hit women.

The way I heard it, way back when the Army and Navy were figuring out variour protection forces, it finally came down to a coin flip. The Navy lost, thats why the Army got the K9 Corp and the Navy the Marines.

I'm not a marine so I shouldn't be doing that :p

The war cry is actually "ooh-rah" (hooah is for the Army), but we appreciate your enthusiasm anyway.

In my experience, the interservice rivalry is one more of friendly competition and jabbing each other in the ribs than of mortal hatred. That said, what ARMY really stands for is:

Ain't
Really a
Marine
Yet

;)

?The man who will go where his colors will go, without asking, who will fight a phantom foe in a jungle and mountain range, without counting, and who will suffer and die in the midst of incredible hardship, without complaint, is still what he has always been, from Imperial Rome to sceptered Britain to Democratic America. He is the stuff of which legions are made. His pride is his colors and his regiment, his training hard and thorough and coldly realistic, to fit him for what he must face, and his obedience is to his orders. As a legionary, he held the gates of civilization for the classical world...he has been called United States Marine.?
--Lieutenant Colonel T.R. Fehrenbach, US Army in "This Kind of War" --

Heh, heh. Young 'uns crack me up. I was TDY with units of the 101st Airborne and the 3rd Marine Div. in VN. I have nothing but respect for both of them. When the shyt's flying nobody cares who they're sharing sweat with. The Marines were just a tad crazier, though.

Oh, I was Army and when we weren't involved in an altercation I got along fine with everyone.

Hap - you were in both the Army and Marines? How'd that work exactly?
