M.2 Port X2 or X4?

I would like to get the Samsung XP941 for my MSI Gaming 5 Z97 motherboard. I would like to plug it into the M.2 port. In doing so will it run at X2 or X4 speeds? I keep seeing things like you need an Ultra M.2 port for X4 speeds etc. So I'm confused by this. Also would putting a black sticker over the M.2 drive hurt it in any way? I hate that green PCB in an all black case. If it only runs at X2 speeds then I would just get a regular SSD drive. I can't seem to find any info on MSI's website in regards to what speed it would run at.

Thanks

On their website...

M.2 port supports M.2 PCIe module up to 10Gb/s speed**

* M.2 PCIe interface only supports UEFI option ROM, NOT support legacy option ROM

Gigabyte missed the memo that 4 x PCIe driver were available and only hooked up 2 lanes for 2 x PCIe configs capable of 10Gbps

Asus, ASRock or MSI have implemented M.2 correctly for drives like the XP941 that can use the full 4 x PCIe M.2 slots.
