Question M.2 mkey to pcie adapter question

My motherboard has an msata connector. Would my UEFI be able to recognize an m.2 mkey on a pcie card like this?

One m.2 on the card simply talks through the sata port. But the m.2 mkey slot talks through the pcie. Im worried the UEFI may not pick it or would it not matter?

I emailed Sybausa about a week ago but havent heard from them so they probably out.

The PCIe drive goes over the PCIe slot so will be recognized, but if the board does not support booting to NVMe (it might need modded) then you can't boot to it. Although there are some rare PCIe drives that use AHCI.
