So then you are admitting you dont care what women think?

Hee hee - nice try! My mother is one of the most respected jurists in my state, and I care very much what she thinks.

CNN is a Corporatist news organization. Same with every single other major news organization in the US.

Edit: To clarify I'm saying that they are part of the Fascist system that the US is under. Same with the UK, Canada etc... most Western nations.

Well since a lot of the posters on here rip Fox on a regular basis it is nice to see someone do the same for CNN.

Perhaps our response on future Fox attacks shall be "Who cares what you think?"

CNN is pale in comparison to Fox News.

Obviously people on the left are going to see CNN as balanced and Fox as conservative, and vice versa.

If you can't understand that then you need to take your partisan blinders off. Of course CNN is more to the left and Fox is more to the right. It is almost, if not completely impossible to be 100 percent in the middle, its just human nature to go one way or the other.

It's just that it's getting so hard to really support Bush or any of his policies without coming off as simply biased. Disagreeing with Bush is the mainstream now, and CNN doesn't do it as much as Fox tows the GOP line.

The more right you go, the more left everything else looks.

I haven't watched CNN in many years, but listened to it and Fox recently on Sirius, and was suprised how much more leftist it is then it seems like it used to be. However it isn't as abashedly partisan as Fox is. On a scale 1-10, where Fox is 10, CNN is ~7.

Last thought was, good, at least someone's out there challenging Fox in the brainwash meter. Fox was talking about how the Dems leaked Foley, CNN had Lou Dobbs ranting about (pro-)middle class tax cuts.

I agree with your first point, but, supporting Bush does not mean you are going more to the right, maybe more republican, but not necessarily more right (no pun inteneded so stfu ;) Bush does not seem very right wing to me, at least he is not doing what most tradtitional conservatives would like him to be doing. You could make the argument that the more republican you go the more democrat everyone else looks, but it works both ways. And like many have said, Republican!=conservative and Democrat!=liberal. Although I think liberals and Democrats are much more alike nowadays than Republicans and conservatives.

But the Dems more than likely did leak Foley (why would a republican do that?). I'm not saying its right or wrong, just saying that Fox is probably right in saying that Dems leaked the whole Foley thing. BTW, please don't turn this into a Folely thread, he is a peace of crap and I'm glad that someone got it out there and that he's gone, I was just commenting on the previous post.

you know if CNN wants to report fairly what is going on, then why don't they show American forces taking out insurgents?

I mean come on, if I am going to see any body die it's the person tryng to kill my fellow countrymen, NOT watching my fellow countrymen die.

all CNN is doing is showing Americans getting killed and then shouting "See!! THIS is the horror of war!!" why can't they do that when an American soldier shoots the enemy full of holes?

CNN is at best a tiny bit to the left, Fox News is way out in the field. They're not exact opposites at all.

The reason they don't show the latter is it doesn't fit their leftist political agenda. The whole foray of disseminating enemy propaganda was designed to attempt to influence the November 7 elections here. The terrorists, in fact, even said that themselves. Which makes CNN's airing of it even more blatantly ridiculous.

Anyone who actually watched the video I linked can see Wolf Blitzer fidgeting and grasping for words. The greatest portion is when Cheney asks him if he wants America to win. HE ACTUALLY PAUSES as if he had to think about that a moment. Stunning.

You know, your intellectual dishonesty is amazing.

Even the most conservative posters will admit that Fox News tilts right.

The fact that you continue to insist that CNN is even close to middle of the road, or only a tiny bit left is both laughable and, as I said, intellectually dishonest.

turn on CNN and let us know what type of bias you find.

everyone's saying CNN is biased, but I'm not really seeing any examples in this thread beyond that one terrorist video.

why don't they show American forces taking out insurgents?

they do.

so I turned on Fox News right after posting that. it's been 3 minutes... immediately, I get hit with a story on negative campaign ads, but how convenient. they're only focusing on the democrats negative ads and how they're out of bounds, not even touching the negative ads that the republicans are running.

I don't know that it's partisan - I never gave a crap about what Tipper Gore thought about rock lyrics, either. I guess Marilyn Quayle was a bad example - her stock should appropriately have risen now that we have essentially elected Dan Quayle President, twice.

It's a damn shame the search engine doesn't work.

It works just fine. Remember this?

"Clinton was owned by Chris Wallace."

Maybe he was shocked by her retarded questioning of his patriotism? I sure was. I expected a partisan whore to show up to be interviewed by Blitzer, but didn't know how right I was.

It boils down to the fact that American news (on TV at least) sucks. Unless things change alot I will just get my news from the BBC.
