lvl's of video cards

nvidia line, i'm confused..

What is more stronger GF4 ti4600 or the fx 5900?

5900 is definately a faster card...its also $200 - $300 more expensive. 4600 is a solid performer for around $200.

thanks for replies, ya i should have figured that the price difference meant some what of a difference in performance.

also from my current video card which is the ti4200 128meg version, to a gf4 ti4600 128meg version, will i see a huge performance increase??

gaming under dvi or crt, does that make a differnce?

thats not a very good upgrade, just overclock the 4200 and save yourseld the $$$

ya mine has no dvi, so i have no choice but to change, i found a trade so its not gana cost huge amounts.

shady, in most tests its about the same as the 9800P. unless you count AT's Q3 scores, hehe

Harabecw, according to the anandtech review the 5900 ultra go more FPS in Quake III, Jedi Knight2, Doom III, Unreal 2003, any practically ever other game they benched

yeah, we are all aware of the driver issues but the thing is that the 5900 ultra still benchmarked a bit better after the "fix"

Not really.

(Keep in mind that second link is using a slightly OC'ed 5900U, and that ATi 4x FSAA looks better than nVidia 4x FSAA.)
