I have a little project that I want to start. I'm gonna take an old MacBook out of it's case and put it in a new one, upgrade to SSD and more RAM.
Along with this, I want to install a HDMI output, in order to do that I think that the only way is to take the LVDS signal to the original LCD screen and convert it to HDMI, in the HDMI signal I also want to include the audio from the MacBook. Does anyone know of any converters or chips that would do this?
*I'm not interested in using a thunderbolt connection.
