I want to record my drive on the highway at night but my Camera seems to only support a minimum LUX of 7.5 and was wondering if this would be sufficient. I would be driving on the interstate highway so it shouldn't be pitch black.

A lot of varibles are in play. On average, your headlights will produce more than 7.5 lux (lumens), but that varies with distance from the bulbs. The type of bulbs also comes into play as a variable. So, why not try it and see?

Frankly, I can't imagine a more boring video than watching lighted pavement going by over an extended period of time. :)

Nevertheless - it can be a fun experiment. Do it!
