I've been hard at work trying to locate this lure for about a year with no luck. I've been to all major retailers within 50 miles of my house. I've also searched out all small baitshops within the same radius. I am positive it is a Long A Bomber of a discontinued series since it doesn't show up in any current books. There are three pictures (all the same lure) below. Obviously I'm looking for some in better condition then this one :) And I know someone will ask so I will tell: It met its dreadful fate on a windy day against a seawall. Ouch. If you know where I can obtain one (or more) of these please send me an email or PM.

For those of you who haven't seen one they come in boxes similar these. Sorry for the site but it's the only boxed picture I could find quickly and Lurenet.com (their website) is down as of this typing.

Also it is a shallow runner (not a deep diver) and it is off the 5"/6" series (some people round up, others down). It's basicly the medium size. Additionally it was not a jointed lure.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to help but I'm afraid you'd use it to catch fish and maybe eat them.

Did you check this out.

Do a search on Google for 'lure collections' if the one you're looking fore isn't in production.

Especially check the links.

They always get thrown back. I'm more of a Muskellunge and Pike guy anyways. I don't know what either of those would taste like and if their smell is any indication - I'll pass. :)

I can't tell you where you can find that exact lure, but it looks like a broken-back Rapala shallow diving crankbait.

If you want something similar, i'd look into Rapala, though all those options have two hooks.

Did you try Emailing any of the collectors and obvious experts on lures at any of the links to the link I provided. I'm sure one of them would know.
