Yeah.....EXTREMELY rare for TWO in the same immediate family. My wife's family is actually a part of a long term study with Dr. Brian Mandell and the Cleveland Clinic. Mandell is the head of Arthritic diseases at C.C. and is highly respected in his field. He travels all over the world speaking of the latest procedures. He is arguing that the disease is genetic in nature. If you know somebody who isn't getting the treatment you think they should or you would just like a second opinion, I HIGHLY reccommend you get in contact with him. VERY nice guy who talks in plain english (instead of doctor speak) and is a realist. I haven't looked but i'm sure he is listed on the C.C. website.
