Rapper Lupe Fiasco was kicked off the stage at the inaugural concert. He had anti-obama rants 30 minutes into the performance which he attacked obama for not doing anything about people being killed in Gaza

He had been repeating this over

Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say s–t / That’s why I ain’t vote for him, next one either” for a half hour, and refused to switch songs when asked.

Eventually he was booted out when security came and kicked him off. This isn't the first time has taken down obama, he has been critical of him before this.


Should he have been kicked out for what he said about obama or should they have let him continue and not make a scene

It sounds like he fully intended to be pulled off the stage and wasn't really trying to entertain anyone (or was, perhaps, just high on something). In any case this was a private event and the President had nothing to do with the decision to pull him offstage.

He spent 30 minutes ranting about obama and was unhappy with the Gaza issue since obama didn't speak out. I dont think he intended to be pulled off stage but rather he used the opportunity to spread his message. I never said obama had anything to do with him getting kicked off.

This wasn't a political event, and obviously the hosts didn't want a 30-minute political diatribe when they hired him to perform a concert. Do you think the people who wrote out his check shouldn't be able to pull him offstage?

the song is 3.5 minutes, if he performed it for 30 minutes, I'd give him that he said it about 9 times...

also assuming Skylar Gray (sp?) wasn't doing backup voices, he could have thrown it in a few more times too
