Sausage is all the leftover animal "by-products" ground up and put into animal intestines.

And by by-prodcuts I mean hooves, beaks, eyes, brains, all that good stuff that just won't sell. Sometimes, if you look closely, the texture of the "meat" in hot dogs are different. Now you know why. (It's probably a cow eye)

Now, recently they no longer use the animal intestines, for the most part, but the animal by-product part is still the same, itf not moreso used in sausage than say, ground "meat".

Having said all that, you'll probably eat that stuff anyways, I'd wager. I'd still say your logic about all that is stupid, since it's more selective than anything. Granted, it's only my opinion.

like I said already - it's all mental. Putting an insect like that in your mouth vs. putting a sausage or hot dog in your mouth is a bit different in the mind. What do you see ?

I don't like shrimp and crab unless I prepare them myself. I just don't trust them (restaurant drudges) to devein shrimp properly or clean the crabs right. 🙁

I think some religions consider them dirty and like insects (bottom feeders/filter feeders).
