movie ok, bowling not ok unless she suggests it

what's wrong with bowling?

It *may* just be me, but if a man said "let's go bowling" as a date I would think it was pretty nerdy... and not in a good way. I remember some guy telling me he was the captain of the bowling team once, and it just did not hit me in the right way 😉 I would prefer an outdoor activity like hiking or visiting a botanical garden, or something more cerebral than bowling. That's why I thought maybe she should bring it up, so you know she is into that sort of thing.

The original plan is an outdoor activity which is mini golfing. Its a 40 percent chance of rain so I need an indoor backup plan that would be fun.
Thats why I figured bowling. Any other ideas you can think of?

Update:

seemed to have gone pretty good. I logged onto AOL IM and got a big hello with a smiley today. She thanked me for lunch and the movie:thumbsup:
