That is all, well, except for the part below. Once that is done than it will be all, but not quite yet. Also, I might change my mind and add a bit more if the spirit moves me. Note, that "spirit moves me" is a figure of speech and not to be taken literally, unless you believe in sprits and that these spirits in which you believe have the power and inclination to move me, in which case, feel free to interpret the passage literally.

For once, it's actually not cloudy here. Getting a good view of it, it has not started yet but it's probably getting there as it's yellowish. Peak is suppose to be around midnight.

I'm in a good place to see, but like many above, I can't - too much cloud tonight!

Wow we're getting super lucky in San Antonio. Has been horrendously humid and completely clouded over every night for two weeks now, but not a cloud in the sky out here right now and can see the partial eclipse perfectly.

Getting some pics in. Taking a chance and just free handing it hopefully they won't be too blurry. The tripod is really wobbly anyway so it's usually not any better and it's also hard to precisely aim it. I need to get an actual telescope that has a DSLR mount at some point. Telescope tripods tend to be more solidly built and also easier to do fine adjustments than camera tripods.

Pics came out grainy. I could see the full disk at totality through a scope but too much smoke and light pollution for a clear view.

Went out to put the horses away for the night and noticed this happening. Didnt even know it was going to happen. Got the kids and sat outside and watched the show.

Actually cleared up here, so I could see it when it was total.

My takeaway from this event was the media coverage prior to the eclipse. Every article I was on it emphasized that it was safe to view the eclipse with the naked eye. How fucking stupid are the American people that they need to be told it is safe to look at the moon? At least, none I saw mentioned anything about werewolves.

Of course, we had a president that looked at a partial solar eclipse, so I guess I can't say I shocked, just disappointed.
