Lumb-R-Grip.......................Anybody know if these really work???

Given enough force, it'll eventually dent the wood.

edit: the thing is, you pretty much NEED weight to hold it in place. I'm not sure I'd trust it to hold something that is very light (or something that might see alot of swinging).

I'm just curious as to what the lumber looks like after a few pokes w/ these things.

😕

What got me curious was this is exactly the kinda' thing I'm lookin' for to get my garage organized for '06........LOL!!! (Kids = toys galore & shrinking square footage)

Home Depot has a better closeup picture and from that I can guarantee you're going to be putting holes in the wood. But it won't really matter.

BTW, HD has them in a pack of 6 for 20 bucks.

Depending on what the tool looked like that cuts the ends of the metal or if they're ground off, either square or round dents the diameter of the metal that forms the hooks.
Oh yeah, There will be a dent / hole.
Once the dent is made, unless there's some force counter, they should stay in the holes when the load is removed.
