you can't call religion a lie when it's not a lie. it's a belief. a lie would be knowing the truth and purposefully deceiving those around you to believe something contrary to what you do.

also, just like you can't prove God exists, you can't prove God DOESN'T exist... therefore, it cannot be called a lie.

for a video of something that's got a huge fucking boner for science, it's pretty stupid to call religion a lie in the name of science.

faith is faith. leave it at that. some people believe in it and some people don't. live and let live and don't be an ignorant jackhole to those who believe something you adamantly and annoyingly oppose.

I only posted this because I like the portal song "Still Alive" and this has the same tune. But I'll address your post anyway. They aren't saying religion is a lie, they are saying calling intelligent design science is a lie. Also the phrase "is a lie" comes from the game portal, "The cake is a lie". It's not to be taken so literally.
