Luke Warm Deal 8x4x32 IDE CDRW for $109

Its at Computer Geeks its an Artec 8x4x32 IDE CDRW w/2mb buffer. Anyone know if this is like the Cendyne which is made by Plextor??

Anyone know what site has a list of who makes who's drives??

If the CD-RW comes with waranty I'd say that's pretty good. Paid 180 for my sony 8/4/32 5 months ago

I know the 6x4x32 Cendyne is Ricoh but someone posted in another HD post that the 8x4x32 Cendyne was made by Plextor only diff was that the Cendyne has a 2mb buffer vs 4mb for the Plextor.

I have heard that this Artec is made by Ricoh. I can't verify this, though.
