A lucky Strike Lanes just opened up in Denver recently. Went to check it out with my buddy, who's brother is one of the door guys. Quite the schnazzy setup. Definitely one of the nicer clubs I've been to....and certainly the nicest bowling alley. Just about everything is stupid expensive, $10/hour for a pool table, $5 for a bowling-pin shaped bottle of Bud Light, $5 for a bottle of Fat Tire, etc... But, that's to be expected at a celebrity-club in the Downtown area I guess.

Speaking of celebrities, Green Day was there. I had no idea how small their lead singer was....that guy's tiny!

Anyway, I heard it was a club chain based outta Hollywood.....that kinda figured. I mean, from where else is a celebrity-club/bowling alley gonna originate? Good times, nontheless. Music was good and I've never seen more pretty people in one place in my life.

Funny thing was that I was far underdressed (wasn't allowed in with my hoody on, so I had to coat-check it and just wear my T-shirt). I also hadn't shaved for a week, so I had a beard just for sh!ts-and-giggles. Despite my "scrubbiness", while sitting at a booth with my buddy, eating their fried mac-n-cheese balls (good stuff, the only thing not over-priced) a very attractive blonde approached us, sat down, declared that I was hot, gave me her number, and left. That was easiest pick up I've ever done!

[edit] I'll get pics next time I go.....and there'll definitely be a next time.

i know i piss on every thread, i just wanted to note that the lucky strike in hollywood is more of a lame tourist hangout then a "celebrity club"....not that i really enjoy pretentious, one-name clubs that people do visit.

[snob] but im sure they are really cool in denver and kentucky[/snob]

:p ;)

Well, there's not alot of Tourism in Denver. I mean, people don't visit Denver for the sights. They just fly in so they can get out to the mountains.

I just called it a celebrity club since apparently there's been a bunch of celebs hanging out there since the opening. It'll probably fade a bit after things settle. I mean, I had never seen Green Day in person before. :p
