I plan on buying a e6300 and OCing to the max. I had an idea, since cpus vary on how much they overclock, should I get two and then sell the one that doesn't overclock as well on ebay? Has anyone else done this and got 2 cpus that overclocked differently?

I have never done this and I think it is mad to do that.

Buy one cpu, if it overclocks well, fine. If it doesn't then sell it and get a new cpu.

Alternately get E6600 which is already better on stock and oc it with a nice cooling solution to try to get 2.8-3.0ghz or higher

E6300 might do 2.8 or higher.
