I have an ASUS P8Z68-V LE LGA Motherboard, 2500K and an 8800GT. When I was researching Virtu to see if this would work with my video card I couldn't find anything except...
  • Allow customers to choose from the most popular AIBs from NVIDIA (2000, 4000 and 5000 series) and AMD ATI (4,000 and 5,000 series)
I took a chance and it works! This is exactly what I was hoping for when I bought this board/cpu. Right now I use my rig 70% non-gaming and 30% gaming.

What Discrete GPU are you running with LucidLogix Virtu?

Right now I have a Gigabyte GV-N460OC-1GI R on my Intel® Desktop Board DZ68BD and it is running great with the Lucidlogix software.

is the radeon 6850 a workable solution for lucid? I have one from my last build, if it is not, I will just sell it and make some coin while i still can 😛

My 4890 seems to work fine with Virtu even though its not in the list of tested cards. The official compatibility list per the latest driver notes is:

GPUS
 NVIDIA GTX580
 NVIDIA GTX480
 NVIDIA GTX470
 NVIDIA GTX465
 NVIDIA GTX460
 NVIDIA GTX450
 AMD 6950
 AMD HD6870
 AMD HD5870
 AMD HD5770
 AMD HD5750

FYI...I restored my system from a 64GB SSD Image to my new 128GB SSD. Everything went smooth thanks to the Aronics image on my server. However I tried playing BF2 and I kept getting this annoying ambiguous error messaging saying my key wasn't active. Had no clue what key or software. When I said to update it nothing happened. I figured out it was the Virtu software since my game ran on the IGPU and crawled.

Simple fix was to re-install the software.
