That was some crap right there. (UT fan) :p

Hell I didn't even realize you could review that. And I thought there were rules on subs and such too but ah well.

For a few minutes, I thought "oh *(%##%, Ole Miss fiasco all over again".

LSU simply luck out, again. Can't do that next week vs. Florida.

Brando said it well, this is the worse top 10 team in the nation.

Actually I just watched it again and UT got royally fucked.

#1 - UT did have 1 too many players.
#2 - LSU line was moving before ball was snapped. (5 yard penalty)
#3 - #53 for LSU took his helmet off and slammed it to the ground before the loose ball was even secured. (15 yard penalty)

And hell I could be wrong but I didn't even think the offense could sub the way LSU subbed. Could be confused with NFL or something.

UT did get hosed. The removing the helmets should have been flagged. But it was still LSU's ball, the play was dead when the ball was snapped. UT had 13 guys on the defense, not just on the field, but on the defensive side of the ball. Luckiest win ever and completely piss poor clock management, you work on that stuff in practice, not run around like chickens.

1. They didn't have 1 too many players, they had 2 too many.
2. No, it wasn't.
3. You should know refs don't throw flags against Tennessee opponents who throw their helmets (bama last year)

I know, it's a crappy way to lose, but the Vols lost. My team didn't deserve the win either. Lets just look at the end of this game for what it really was.... a comedy.

Oh, Geaux Tigers, and Fire Les Miles!

Hilarious and crazy. I hate UT though so oh well.

Lots of crazy endings today. Michigan, VT, OU (kind of). Fun stuff.

The Bama helmet throw was different bc the game was over. The game obviously wasn't over here and the dude did it while the damn play was still in progress and he did it like 5 yards from the scrum for the ball. I'm all for giving them a do over but do it right from the 17 yd line. Oh well.

The personal foul wasn't a dead ball foul...if the play was still going on when he slammed his helmet down. That would have offset the too many men penalty and they would have replayed the down from the same spot (two yard line). So had they called it, it wouldn't have mattered.

Les Miles is a high-functioning retard. He needs to go. ...so does Jordan Jefferson. ...and Jarrett Lee.

LSU should have lost. They deserved to lose. It's very tiring defending LSU while living in Florida. sigh...

Ha well assuming you're right with the offset it would have at least pushed the line of scrimmage scrimmage back by a yard. ;)

Les Miles is like Forrest Gump, functionally retarded, but continually getting lucky in life.

If the penalties offset would the game be over? Or dies the can't end on defensive penalty still apply?

Technically the play was dead as soon as the ball was snapped.

I'm rly not sure. To be honest I'm not even sure if unsportsmanlike penalties work off normal rules of offset penalties or not. I guess it doesn't matter now but will be some good talk radio fodder here for a week or so.
