When I had a SCSI-3 card, used to have 7 devices.... harddrives, cd, cdr, zip, jaz, etc....

Only thing to be checked is if this is supported on the OS you are using. My Diamond Fireport didn't work efficiently on win/2k, and there are no official drivers for XP, and no working drivers for 2003....

I have the same card in my current WinXP machine. Drivers were detected upon startup, no need to download and manually install. It does work in 32-bit slots.

Jen,
Go here for SCSI adapters or else do a google for 'em.
You can get just about anywhere you want to go (SCSI-wise). Also, I look at the 90° adapters when exiting the rear of the PC as it makes for a cleaner and less fragile connection.
Of course, you can also cable from one connector/connection to the other and it is often as tidy & possibly the cost will be less. You can also exit the rear of the PC pretty handily with cabling.
This is actually quite a good find by Ziptar (obviously, Ziptar is compressing in both the Linux and Windows worlds).:D:D:D

If you got the bucks to go with adaptec,

their 19160 has a 50 and 68 pin (LVD/SE) connector internally, and a 50 pin external.

From what I recall, you can only use 2 of the 3 connectors at one time.

On the other hand, the 29160 has 4 connectors, it has the 50, 68 SE and 68 LVD internally, and a 68 LVD external.

You can use all 4 at the same time on this one.

CHeck out some tekram models too... Based on teh symbios chipsets, they're usually cheaper.

I use the 29160, a customer gave it to me, works great, I just picked a cheap U160 SCSI IBM drives, works for me, also hooked up an external tape drive.
