LS7 to be replaced by 6.4L DOHC Supercharged engine

some of this has been known for a while, but what i want to say is that this car will no longer be known as a Z06 but rather an SS.

the 7 litre Vette is disappearing again.

also, expect a 650 HP BlueDevil vette to make an appearance next year, but should be unveiled sooner.

That's all highly unlikely...

there are already 2 dealers taking preorder down payments on the Blue Devil.

and someone accidently leaked an order sheet showing 6.4L DOHC supercharged on it.

i havent specifically seen the pic, but its on a lot of corvette forums.

Sort of going back to the LT5 roots?

ZR-1 yea, but i think its just going to replace the Z06 as well. no more Z-06 in general, just the SS, and the BD

corvetteforum.com has it being shown, one of their more respected sorta insider thought that GM was gunna show the BD at NAIAS, but it wasnt. so hes not sure right now, but it has been reported to be confirmed, as has the 6.4L DOHC SC engine. both are on corvetteforum

That sure sounds like 100% BS.

iforgot to say that he later confirmed that it wasnt gunna be there, but yea.

he owns the largest Chevy dealership in 49 states.

hes been right about 99% of the time with what is going on.

and people didnt believe the 427 would be in the Z06, and ex GM Engineers didnt believe their would be an Aluminum Frame on the Z06
